Year in Review
Same template as last year, but great new content. This year I have added a guestbook, so you can let me know what you think of the site, or just that you have dropped by. There is also a page with the links to all the previous newsletters, since 1991. An interesting trip down memory lane for anyone prepared to take the trip.
Following on from last year's poll the Cheers! newsletter is now a web-only affair. This has made the newsletter production a bit more timely without the need to print and distribute, and a bit more upbeat.
The address for the newsletter is www.cheers2015.xyz (which obviously you know, because you are here). Next year it will be cheers2016, and so on. This might depend on availability of the domain name though, so register your interest in receiving the newletter (via the guestbook or email) and I will send you the link each year.
It's been a big year one way or another. Dominating the news is the epic Europe trip during September and October.
It started off as a trip to fit in with the Rugby World Cup, see a few games and have a week in France as a side trip. It grew to be a romp through Italy, France, Belgium and the UK, with a diversion to Switzerland and Luxembourg. Plenty of photos from the trip and throughout the year. Some miscellaneous photos below also.
Rather than try and summarise the trip, I'll refer you to the blog at www.eurojewell2015.xyz. This has a running day-by-day commentary which I hardly expect you to read. However you can amuse yourself with flitting around to read the highlights.
