Stephen
When not working at Unitywater in Maroochydore Stephen is to be found destroying stuff in the garage. No room for any cars. The garage is slowly being turned into an Aladdin’s Cave of woodwork, electronics and scale models. The purchase of a laser cutter has expanded his ability to create havoc. More on that later.
Michelle
Michelle is still working with Doctors on Buderim three days a week and with Careflight operating out of Sunshine Coast Airport half a day a week. She took up outrigger paddling semi seriously and competed in the Australian Championships in May.
Hannah
Hannah turned 25 in May. She amuses herself around the house, with occasional trips to the shops and to a massage therapist. She spent a few months attending Sunshine Butterflies, a support group for people with disabilities. This waned about October and she is looking for a new focus.
Emily
Emily turned 20 in March and has just finished off her third year at Latrobe University in Melbourne. Three years down and one to go. She had a couple of prac teaching stints during the year. About to start a summer job in Mooloolaba to earn some spending money.
Amelia
Amelia finished school last year and has been on a gap year since. She is working at the Cheesecake Shop in Maroochydore before heading off to the University of Queensland in March to commence a Bachelor of Arts and Communication. Amelia turned 18 on 3 December. The last of the children is a child no longer. Go Milly.
Marmalade
No change, still an amateur house sitter and part-time guinea pig security guard.
