Another short report, as it wasn’t so mush a tourist day as a meet the in-laws day.
We were invited to Brunch to meet Chris’ parents and siblings. His parents live just north of Brighton, at Hassock, and we drove over with Chris and Emily.
Pressure was on, but they were all very nice, and the morning went off fine. Early reports are that they seemed to think we were okay. I would like to think that we haven’t contributed to any concerns on their part about their son marrying our daughter and moving to Australia. Annabelle, Chris’ 5-year old niece, was most impressed that I helped her do some colouring in.
True to form, if it isn’t interesting engineering, architecture, streetscape or a monument, then I don’t photograph it. So there are absolutely no photos from the day.
After some free form activity, Emily cooked a roast for dinner and we caught the bus home (the steep hill is not to be attempted at night nor, I’m informed, by Michelle).
