It seems to have been coming forever but itโ€™s finally crunch time. A car is collecting us at 9pm and delivering us to Brisbane Airport.

Bloody late, but weโ€™re not flying out until nearly 2am. We get into Dubai tomorrow afternoon-ish, put up with a 5-hour layover and get into Gatwick around 5am Sunday morning, our time. About 8pm Saturday UK time. Just in time to go to bed.

Anyway, weโ€™re at the airport, enjoying the Emirates lounge. Only an hour to go before we board – at 1:15am.
