D-Day minus 1

Okay, we haven’t gone anywhere yet. But we are ready. Amelia is getting in a last shift at the Cheesecake Shop at Sunday penalty rates, the proceeds of which will no doubt be invested in some Paris fashion shop.

Cases packed (I can’t find any socks, might have to buy some), iPads charged and thankfully the tickets to the Rugby arrived on Thursday. Arrived might be an overstatement. Michelle had to drive to Brisbane to collect them, however we have them. Can’t wait to do the customer survey.

Guinea pigs have been agisted, cat goes into the cattery in the morning and the in-laws have arrived to look after Hannah. Amelia has made a batch of celebratory cup cakes to underline the occasion. Not sure what else there is to do, pretty sure that it won’t be done now.

  1. Have a great time. Got a bit late to ring, thought I had better abstain from waking you just to say “Hi”. Safer that way. Will be keen to see/hear all about it. See if you can get a photo of the worlds oldest clock at Salisbury Cathedral. I didn’t see it, not sure if you are allowed, not that I expect such a little thing as permission would stop you! Best wishes from Tasmania.

    1. Okay, I’ll see what I can sneak back on the plane. We are going to spend a couple days looking at stuff around Salisbury (the usual Stonehenge and Old Sarum).

  2. Thank you Steve, if not for your brilliant ideas tragic non-FB people like us would be out of touch! Look forward to seeing all your adventures, travel safe xo
