2012 - Winning ways
Amelia’s volleyball team broke through for its first tournament win, at Bendigo in October. She was presented with a piece of Bendigo Pottery as the winner’s prize, rather than a medal. While she appreciated the pottery, it was really hard to pin to a corkboard.
The good form continued into the Nationals Schools Cup in December, with the Under-17 Girls team coming runner up in their division.
Amelia signed up for part-time work at K-Mart. She had to wait until she turned 15 (on 3 December) before she could legally start.
